Alarm standards are designed to give manufacturers, installed and end users confidence and reassurance on the quality of manufacturing and security. With the heavy shift to the digital world, the alarm standard AS2201 doesn’t give the same support and surety that it once did.

Naskam’s Managing Director Maks Maksan weighed in on the issue in this article, agreeing that the standard needs to be updated to cover the quality of cloud services, especially if they are overseas where the same standards might not apply.
