Australian mobile carriers have been turning off 3G services to make way for more advanced 4G and 5G network services for quite some time now, the ongoing transition has been silently impacting the quality of your connection.

WHEN WILL 3G NETWORKS BE COMPLETELY SHUTDOWN?

The last 3G towers from Vodafone will be closed down in December 2023.  Telstra will shut down completely in June 2024 and Optus in September 2024.
